This album contains a live recording from Tangle Edge`s concert at the venue Benoni in Narvik, Norway on April 12th 1986.
Six of these tunes were released in 1986 on a cassette by Mushroom Productions entitled "Live In The Presence Of Aphrodite". This album, on the other hand, contains over 90% of the concert.

The original recording on cassette had serious balance problems and distorted cymbals varying unpredictably all the way through the concert. So a lot of work were put in to finally make this recording decently shaped up to be worthy of a release. Most of the songs had to be mixed individually, so therefore they in some cases sound like coming from different recordings or venues.

My experience of the album focuses to vague hints of four riders symbol in western culture, culminating in paintings of father and son, both descended to the ultimate reality to where the four riders eventually lead us all. Though most of physical world and life in general may appear as null, there are scarcely summits of space mountains emerging from void. Momentariness of all may be only cause for meanigns and give reason to existence..Remembering Mr. Hofman when spinning this.record. Eetu Pellonpää
